* Bible Study ‐ An hour with God’ Word Tuesday evenings from 7:30 ‐ 8:30 pm. No experience
necessary.
* Helping hands ‐ Monday, Feb 1st from 1:00 ‐ 3:00 pm, our sewing crew will have their scissors and machines going again. Newcomers are welcome ‐ no experience necessary.
* Prayer Group ‐ meets on Friday, February 5th at 10:00 am.
* Social Justice please sign the petitions at the back in support of a National Housing Strategy and reversing the cuts to Kairos.
* Life Without Labels Youth Retreat February 12th ‐ 14th Please see Youth bulletin board at the
back for details. This event is open to youth 12‐19. The cost is $120.00 with subsidies available.
* Valentine Social ‐ Saturday, February 13th at 7:30. Social event with music, snack foods, dancing. Tickets are $10 each.
* Shrove Tuesday February 16th Pancake supper at 5:30 pm. Please help our youth by signing‐up to bring cooked sausages.
*Ash Wednesday Children’s Festival ‐ Wednesday, Feb. 17th. For children and youth aged 4 and up at St. Thomas’ Anglican in Brooklin. Explore the Lenten journey through lively music, stories and crafts. Please see the poster and application forms on the Youth board.
* How Deep the Father’s Love ‐ Five Wednesday evenings in Lent. Feb 24 ‐ Mar 24 at St. James
Cathedral includes Choral Evensong and supper. See poster for details.
* Trent Durham Area Day of Celebration ‐ Sat. March 6th 9:30 ‐ 3:30 Check out the wide variety of workshops available on this day of enrichment. Please see board for more info.
* AWARE 2010 Conference ‐ celebrate women ministering to women with music, prayer,
discussion, and more. Preparation Day Sat. March 27th 9:30 ‐ 3:30 Conference April 23rd ‐25th
